    About the Artist:
My style is relaxed. For children, I want you to look at a picture from one of our sessions and remember all the stages of their uniqueness, even when they are too big for you to choose their outfits, comb the "rat's nests" out of their hair (complete with princess rats, mommy rats, and daddy rats, according to my daughters), or let you chauffeur them around town because, amazingly, they can drive themselves. For new mothers and couples getting married, I want you to remember that expectant happiness, that knowledge that you're entering a new stage of your life, and you can't wait.

I look forward to meeting you and capturing memories with you.

Maternity Session

I did a maternity session at a park. J is two weeks away from birth and absolutely lovely! She and her husband were so easy to photograph and up for trying all of my ideas.:)And to the happy couple, enjoy your sneak peek!

First, my favorite from the session (a little sunflare and rainbow for the baby boy!):

Then some fun with pregnancy books:

And you have to record the ice cream cravings…

AH! Your sunflare shot kicks my sunflare shot out of the contest! A rainbow!!!! How the heck did you capture that?!

Thanks, Bex. I love your sunflare, too!! I wasn’t using a lens hood to maximize the sunflare, and I must have been at just the right angle for rainbows! Usually I get golden circles.

Beautiful maternity session. I love the sun flare, great composition and color! ++L

Oh these are fantastic! The Sunflare / Rainbow is amazing…I’ve NEVER seen a Rainbow like that in a photograph, how unique and beautiful!++

These maternity photos are so beautiful! The sunflare is awesome, but I really like the moment you captured of them standing by the tree. They’re going to look back on these and have such wonderful memories captured! Great job, Katherine!
