Holiday Mini Sessions | Jacksonville photographer

It’s hard to believe that summer is already coming to a close. This holiday season, I’ll be offering mini sessions for those of you who would like family portraits. The session fee is already included in the Holiday Mini Session. If you prefer a session that highlights each individual child as well (children change so quickly year to year!), I recommend a regular, full-length session. To ensure enough turnaround time for prints and cards, all holiday sessions must be completed by November 24. I’m taking on a limited number of sessions each month, so I recommend booking in advance, especially for a preferred date.

Note about gift prints:
Gift prints can be all the same size (e.g. five 8×10 prints), or whatever size combination you’d like.

Note about holiday cards:
The holiday cards with this holiday package are press-printed on quality cover stock paper with a linen-like texture. They are flat, double-sided, and can be customized with text and your choice of session image. The back has a simple print that coordinates with the front, allowing you to hand-write messages on the back (I can also add a printed message of your choice on the back). Any designs for Flat cards can also be used for Folded cards.

H Fairy | Jacksonville photographer

My younger daughter loved playing with her wand on our little photo session in the neighborhood while her sister was at preschool. Two-year-olds make wonderful fairies! A neighbor even stopped her car to say hello and tell us she had her own fairy princess in the back seat. We didn’t stay out too long, though, because it was soooo hot! It’s definitely not fall temperatures yet here in Jacksonville.

E baby at park | Jacksonville photographer

oh.my.goodness. Little E is so cute, and I had such a fun time with her. Her family is from Texas and will be moving back there in a year, so her parents brought along some boots and and a cowboy hat. She makes a great cow girl! And, of course, I wanted to bring my pink chair out for this little princess. Her mom also brought a giant cupcake for the session finale. P family, enjoy your sneak peek!

J Bridal Session | Jacksonville wedding photographer

J and I headed out for her bridal session in the rain and waited for lulls. It really has been a crazy summer for rain this year! Although the rain got too heavy for us to go to all the locations I’d planned, we still got some lovely pictures. Isn’t J a stunning bride? Thanks for a fun session, J!

T Senior | Jacksonville Photographer

T is a high school senior and was so much fun to work with. He and his family were in Jacksonville briefly after a cruise and thought the beach would be a perfect location for senior photos before heading back to Illinois. We also got a few family photos while we were at it. T, have a wonderful senior year and enjoy your sneak peak!

J & S | Jacksonville Wedding Photographer

J & S had a lovely wedding in front of their pond in early July. They have a charming gazebo, and the violinist was perfect for setting the mood. I’ll also be photographing J soon for her bridal portrait session, also known in the industry as Trash the Dress. It’s a time to get glam and have fun with the dress! J & S, enjoy your sneak peak!

J & S’ daughters were so much fun! I went for a pastel look when editing this one–perfect for girls!

H & E in July | Jacksonville Photographer

One of the ironies of being a photographer is that you sometimes take less pictures of your own children. Yes, it’s happened to me, and I’d like to change that!

First up is Emma, the doll privileged with an avant garde makeover and hair cut (better the doll than the child!).

Next, is the laundry basket and the magic of towels.

And a little “vogue” in front of the window.

Albums | Jacksonville Photographer

I’m now offering 10×10 coffee-table book style session albums. If you want all your session images (but don’t have the wall space for ALL of them!), then this is a perfect solution. :) I’ll be offering a variety of styles, depending on your type of session.

Little I | Jacksonville Photographer

Not only is little I beautiful, but she is such a content and sleepy baby! She also has two proud big sisters. Isn’t I precious? We took a few photos outside and it’s amazing how little newborns don’t mind the blazing heat. She even smiled for us!

Studio news

Wishing Well Photography is undergoing some changes! I am an on-location photographer, and my emphasis is on nature. In the past, I have offered studio services where I set up my portable studio in clients’ homes. My family has just moved into a new house, and I’m setting up a studio in my own home as a convenience to clients for maternity and newborn sessions. If desired, other sessions, such as ones for children or small families, can take place in the studio, but I still recommend outdoor photographs for children and families. There is something so beautiful and timeless about natural scenery!

I am on hiatus during June as I get things ready and unpack. Sessions will resume in July.  I’m excited about the new addition to my services and will post pictures of the studio and separate client sitting room in the near future.

Smiles,

Katherine
