Fall family shoot

I photographed this lovely family at their home. A and her brother N were so cute, and A loved twirling around in the petticoat. The vintage cap looked adorable on N for those brief moments he allowed it on his head! H family: Enjoy your sneak peek!

Cumberland Island |

Jacksonville children photographer

I took these photos at Cumberland Island, and fortunately the weather was perfect for walking. You have to take a long ferry ride to get to the island, but once you’re there, you enter a world of pristine beauty. The only downside are the many bugs and no place to put down your stuff! The island has wild horses, and we were fortunate enough to come across them.

Cumberland Island has such a variety of scenery. After the beach, we walked toward the sea marsh. Right before the marsh is a sandy area where trees grow out of a lovely desert. I love the look of these trees and their smooth lines. I chose a coloring for this picture that I felt really fit with the mood of the trees and sand.

And for a cheerful look:

On the way back to the dock, we passed through a meadow-like area with yellow flowers. This picture called for fairy wings. On an aside, I am happy to create a fairy picture for clients. Little girls love these, and they remind me of the magic in my own childhood.

Holiday Greeting Card Samples

Here are a few examples of the holiday cards I’m offering this year (the one with six panels is one of the trifold options). The greeting cards will be quality press-printed cards on art paper.

Rolando Sanchez - September 27, 2008 - 12:20 pm

I like the personalized look of the greeting cards, and the black and white photos are very sharp.

New Blog!

I’ve switched over to a blog hosted through my web site. I’m not very technically savvy, so I haven’t been able to import my old blog posts (I tried many, many times, and the import process just didn’t do anything). I’m going to recreate a couple posts from the old blog, and then start fresh! I look forward to sharing news and photos with all of you here!
