    About the Artist:
My style is relaxed. For children, I want you to look at a picture from one of our sessions and remember all the stages of their uniqueness, even when they are too big for you to choose their outfits, comb the "rat's nests" out of their hair (complete with princess rats, mommy rats, and daddy rats, according to my daughters), or let you chauffeur them around town because, amazingly, they can drive themselves. For new mothers and couples getting married, I want you to remember that expectant happiness, that knowledge that you're entering a new stage of your life, and you can't wait.

I look forward to meeting you and capturing memories with you.

T family at beach

Jacksonville family photographer

This lovely family stopped in Jacksonville after their cruise and wanted to have some portraits taken at the beach before heading home to Texas. We arrived at the beach close to midday, and the weather was pleasant and mild. Both of their children were ready to have fun at the beach, and their little girl especially was full of energy. Ironically, it’s often the sessions where I’m chasing children to get the picture that I find it’s actually easier to capture their personalities. The children do their own thing, and I’m happy to look for the moment where they shine. T family, it was a pleasure!

Family portraits at the beach

We’ve been having such pleasant beach weather recently. The S family is adorable and full of energy. And they were real troupers when the sand gnats came out! S family, enjoy your sneak peek!

First we got some sun flare with little A in my new blue chair:

And the three sisters together:

This is such classic sibling affection, so I thought it deserved a vintage look:

And, of course, the whole family (have to love a beach sunset!):
