This little baby was exactly a week old for her newborn portraits. Sweet S was wide awake when I arrived, but after a while, she was lulled to sleep as the rain poured outside. The rain kept up throughout our session, but we were nice and dry indoors. S is absolutely adorable and was very happy to nap away. N family, enjoy your little one!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday, and what better tribute to Mother’s Day than a post of a beautiful newborn? This sweet little boy surprised his parents and came early, but after a short stay in NICU, he was ready for some modeling. He slept beautifully and let me curl him up into traditional newborn poses. I traveled to Alachua for this newborn session, and I love the look of Florida countryside. The family’s three horses joined in a few pictures, too!

Little R’s mother had this bear hat, and it’s just perfect for him.
This baby boy is a week old here and already a little charmer. He stayed in a wonderful deep sleep until the very end, ready for whatever pose came next. Although he did wake up hungry as we were wrapping up, we still got some beautiful pictures of him with his mommy. P family, congrats again on your newborn boy!
I just love this picture and the yummy window light. His mommy is lovely, and it was easy to see how happy she is with her little boy.

Little E is absolutely adorable. She’s about two and a half weeks old here, but she still fell asleep for us. I love all this newborn sweetness, and this seems to be the time of year for newborns (more to follow!). In addition to a new baby, the F family will be moving to another state soon, so their life is very full with change of the good kind. F family, congrats again on your baby girl!
