During their vacation in Saint Augustine, this fun family wanted beach portraits to help remember their time together in Florida. We enjoyed lovely sunset colors, perfect for this adorable little girl.

I met this warm family for a two-location session. We started in the historic district of Saint Augustine, and then finished at the beach with a fabulous sunset. The session focused just on the children, and they were so sweet together. The little girl was especially graceful.
This family was vacationing in Saint Augustine and asked for me help them record memories of their time together. Most of the family traveled all the way from England, so their time together was extra special.
It was so sweet to see this baby playing with her grandmother.
These brothers may be grown now, but they still know how to make each other laugh.
This family lives here in the States and arranged the portrait session for their visiting relatives. Saint Augustine with its beach and historic charm was perfect for the family reunion.
There will be another grandchild soon…
I couldn’t resist sharing a few more of the grandparents playing with the baby…
This family was vacationing in Saint Augustine all the way from Kansas, where there are plenty of gorgeous wheat fields, but no beach. It was an extremely hazy day at the beach, but the colors that came out in editing were so pretty. And this baby boy has such a charming smile.
One of my personal favorites from the session:
He loved this basket. As soon as we got him in there, he gave us the best expressions.
The beautiful family.
Look at those round, alert eyes and sweet baby cheeks.
The grandmother of this baby boy hired me to take portraits as a surprise gift for her daughter and son-in-law. When I arrived, little C had just woken up from a nap and I could see right away he is an adorable and good-natured little baby. The plan had been to do some indoor portraits, but we ended up keeping almost all of the portraits indoors because it was a particularly dreary and cold day outside. The home was so lovely and inviting (and festive for the holidays!) that it was easy to find many perfect nooks for portraits.
Look at those gorgeous baby blues.
This beautiful antique chair has been in the family a long time and has special meaning for them.
Their home overlooked the ocean, so even though it was very gray outside, we had to at least venture out for a few beach portraits before all the light was gone (and I was able to coax out some pretty colors during editing 🙂 ).
