This family is so full of personality and love. They enjoy the look of oak trees, and this park in St. Johns has so much rustic character. It was easy to see this is a close-knit family. It was a pleasure meeting them and taking their fall portraits.
I’ve been taking annual portraits for these children for five years now, and they’re always so much fun! It’s been a pleasure to watch them grow over the years. These brothers really know how to make each other laugh. They did a mini session this year, and we went to a park in Saint Johns. One of the tree trunks there has so much character. At the end of the session, we snagged a few portraits on an old porch, which yielded my personal favorite. I always encourage children to choose some of their own poses, and their expressions on the porch are priceless.
This warm family has come to me for many years for their annual holiday portraits, and it’s been a pleasure to watch their children grow. When I first worked with them, their youngest was a newborn. This time, we went to one of my favorite parks in Saint Johns.
I’ve been photographing this next family over four years at their home. They have an amazing back yard: perfect for portraits. I last saw this little girl when she was a newborn, and she’s turned into such an adorable toddler.
The big brother is both playful and easygoing.

She’s a little Mommy’s Girl: so sweet! As the mother of two girls myself, seeing these pictures brings back fond memories of when my own daughters were so little.
